Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) are sophisticated network infrastructure solutions designed to enhance wireless coverage and capacity in large or challenging indoor and outdoor environments. DAS consists of a network of antennas strategically placed throughout a location, such as stadiums, airports, campuses, or urban areas, to improve signal distribution.
Architecture
DAS Consists of antennas connected to a network of coax cable lines and Splitters that are then connected to a Remote unit usually in a closet room. The Remote unit is connected via fiber cable that runs back to the Main Head-End that manages and balances the wireless traffic, ensuring consistent and high-quality connectivity for users and is where all the operator's signal sources are connected to.
Performance
DAS technology is particularly valuable in addressing issues of signal penetration, dead zones, and network congestion, making it a vital tool for delivering reliable wireless services, supporting emergency communications, and accommodating the increasing demands of data-intensive applications.
Technologies Deployed
LTE/5G
LTE and 5G can be easily deployed on Small cells, making them an excellent choice for venue owners and operators. In addition to that they are also much simpler to Install than a traditional DAS system.
Our Services and Tools
On-Site Survey and Data Collection
Min
Our field team will go on site to survey the venue, Locate closet spaces, Head-End locations, risers etc.. once, that's complete the team will collect existing Coverage data to Identify hot and dead spots for an accurate design.
